Trampolining in the snow

Most of the museums in the area put on alot of activities especially aimed at children - check out the museum section for more details. Two very popular examples would be Beamish and the Discovery Museum. For small children many of the leisure centres have soft play areas. But as well as these here are some attractions that might keep the children (and adults) amused.

Seven Stories

Whitehouse Farm

Near Morpeth, Northumberland (Just of the A1 before Morpeth - it's well sign posted).

Admission : Charges apply, family tickets available

An all-weather attraction with farm animals, soft play and tractor rides. Learn about how a farm works and see guinea pigs, rabbits, chicks, ducks and exotic animals plus pedal tractors, go karts, crafts and cafe.

Right on the coast at Tynemouth; there are over 30 living displays featuring fascinating marine life from around the world, including Seals, Otters, and a spectacular coral reef.
